Payroll System Using C# And MySQL Database with Source Code

This Payroll System Project is a software-based system that is designed in a flat-based desktop application. This system can handle tasks such as managing the employees’ information and their corresponding payroll every week and month. This is a user-friendly system that the user can easily determine what they are going to do. The main goal of the system is to give accurate data to ensure all the employees get paid on time. The payroll features includes also the overtime and holiday pay in the computation. And also, this can also compute the total deduction of the employee. This payroll system generates reports. How to Run Requirements:

Download and Install XAMPP Download and Install Microsft Visual Studio 2015 or newer versions. Download and Install mysql-connector-net Download and Install mysql-connector-odbc Download and Install SAP Crystal Reports.

Installation/Setup

Download and Extract the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below) Locate the SQL File inside the extracted source code folder. The file is known as "payrolldb.sql". Open your XAMPP's Control Panel and Start the "MySQL" Server. Import/Dump the provided SQL file. If you want to use the XAMPP's PHPMyAdmin in importing the SQL file, make sure to start also the "Apache" in the Control Panel of XAMPP. Locate the solution file in the extracted source code folder. The solution file is known as "PayrollSystem1.1.sln". Open the solution file with your MS Visual Studio Software. Configure the database connection string at the "includes/SQLConfig.cs". Press the "F5" key on the keyboard to run the project.
