Introduction This simple project is a Task Management System. This is a web-based application project developed in PHP and MySQL Database. This project is an automated and online Task Management for a Company and for its Employees. The application helps the company to easily manage and distribute or assign tasks to each employee. This application also includes a simple employee attendance management system. It has a pleasant user interface using Bootstrap Framework. This Task Management System consists of simple and user-friendly features and functionalities. About the Task Management System The Project was developed using the following:

The Task Management System with Attendance Management Project can be accessed by 2 different roles which are the Admin and the Employee. The Admin Users are the ones who are in charge of managing the daily task assigned the task to the employees. They also have the privilege to access and manage all the features and functionalities of the system including the employees and system admin list management. The Admin users can generate printable daily reports for Tasks and Attendance. The Employee User has only limited permission to the different features and functionalities of the site. They can only manage the list of tasks that are assigned to them. On the employee side, the employee can log their attendance online. How to Run ?? Requirements

Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP. Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

System Installation/Setup

Open your XAMPP Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL. Extract the downloaded source code zip file. Copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin Create a new database naming etms_db. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as etms_db.sql located inside the database folder. Browse the Task Management System in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/etms/.
